Consultations and Mentoring

We offer two different types of virtual calls to assist professionals seeking supervision.

We offer a complimentary 15-minute introduction call to students, interns, and professionals to overview their needs for seeking supervision and to see if our company would be a good fit to offer them support.

This is a paid hour-long call to students, interns, and professionals to collaborate and support your needs! We will come up with a plan and resources for specific steps to help you achieve your goal(s)!

Haleigh Beaird, MMT, MT-BC (she/her)

Areas of expertise:

Haleigh is the owner of Helpful Harmonies Music Therapy. She has worked as a music therapist for almost a decade and has her Master's in Music Therapy.

She has worked with a variety of populations over the years and facilitating group sessions are her favorite!

Each presentation will receive its own customized quote. Base price for presentations starts at $75 and will vary based on need, time, amount of participants, preparation time, and other requirements for event.

Student and Professional Observations

As a service to our community, HHMT provides observation opportunities at our clinics in Friendswood for private clients and group sessions. Observation hours are offered Tuesday - Friday from 10AM to 6PM and Saturdays from 9AM to 3PM.

Observations will entail up to 2 hours of individual or group sessions and, if time allows, the therapist being observed to potentially answer questions from the student. If time does not allow, the observer may email the therapist questions about the observation to be answered at the therapist's discretion.

If you or your facility are needing more than a 2 hour observation, please fill out our request form below and indicate desired hours needed in the "Dates and Times Available" slot.

Policies

Please understand that our number one priority is our clients. When observing, observers are expected to behave in a respectful manner at all times, specifically:

Talking on the phone or texting during observations is not allowed.
Reading books during observations is not allowed.
Taking pictures during observations is not allowed.
Posting on social media sites regarding anything you observe is not allowed.
Observer will provide a 24 hour notice to the therapist if they must cancel or reschedule their observation. Failure to do so may result in future observation opporuntities being relinquished.
